Getting your lost AudioFuel back to you
Your computer has blown up, or worse, some one has stolen it and you've lost your AudioFuel. What to do...
A letter from AudioFuel founder - Sean
Hello there,
In the last few months I've had a crazy increase in the number of customers who email me asking for replacement download links for lost AudioFuel.
I guess as computers and phone wear out or break this trend is likely to remain or increase.
Because AudioFuel's customer service department is, well, me, I thought I'd explain why I've started asking people to pay
Technology and change at AudioFuel
Since AudioFuel began trading, 6 years ago, it has been though different computer systems and AudioFuel has been delivered using three different kinds of website.
This means three different cart systems have created three different places where customer data is stored.
Accordingly searching for your old orders, can sometimes take a while particularly if you've permanently lost your receipt, changed your email address or bought from different versions of our websites.
Please help keep a small business running
AudioFuel might look like a mega brand (I wish!) but in fact it's a very small business run by one bloke from his home, part time. AudioFuel really is a labour of love.
So, if you've lost your AudioFuel, I will send you new download links, but the increasing volume of these requests means I'm going to experiment with asking you to help cover the costs.
Donate any amount to get your lost 'Fuel back
I'm asking for a voluntary donation of any amount of your choice for digging out your old order and sending you fresh download links.
This is voluntary, so if you're hard up, please don't donate, just email me and I'll get on it.
Thanks for being a loyal AudioFuel fan.
Kindly

What about the locker you used to offer?
If you shopped at AudioFuel between October 2011 and June 2013 you might remember the 'locker' system, where all the AudioFuel you had bought could be accessed to download again.
That version of the website became too costly to maintain, and I had to switch back to a simpler website.
And with that change, sadly the locker system was no longer a feature I could offer.
Sorry if you miss the locker, it wasn't an easy decision to close the much loved (and expensive) previous website, but the costs just did not stack up.

AudioFuel makes running feel easier, enabling beginners to do more and fit people run faster .
By the time you finish an AudioFuel run you will have:
- found the session easier than expected
- been encouraged to push harder
- invited to slow down and take a walk
- discovered the power of running to the beat
The same effect happens with walking, jogging, swimming and indoor bike training.

Yes. There has been much research in this area. Two leading academics in this area are Professor Costas Karageorghis and Professor Andy Lane. Hear what they have to say about the effect synchronising the beat of the music to sport in these two short videos.

You can.
There are five conditions in a great running playlist.
- A fast tempo - somewhere between 155 BPM (beats per minute) and 180 BPM
- A motivating genre or vibe and uplifting arrangements
- Lyrics that inspire or move
- A structure or compilation of tracks for the kind of workout you want
- Memory triggers music can make
To get the AudioFuel effect with your own music you can follow these guidelines over at the Virgin London Marathon Music and Motivation website.
We use the first four of those conditions to make specific workouts. Interval sessions with fast short sprints and recoveries, or longer steady tempo sessions to help with half and full marathon training.
The coaching we add to the music also helps you exercise with good form, and will help keep you going when it feels hard.

If you buy AudioFuel and find it doesn't help you train well, or it's too fast or too slow, or you just don't like it, email Contact@AudioFuel.co.uk and ask for a swap or a refund. We'll refund you right away.
We can't refund money you have spent with Apple but we will swap a session even if you bought it from them.
