Running Shops
Running Shoes London

I visited Running Shoes London yesterday in Paddington.
Wow, it’s a sexy shop if you are a gear freak.
Light, airy and really well stocked and in the somewhat calmer setting that is Sheldon Square (really near Paddington tube) right next to the Regents Canal (AudioFuel HQ is on the Regents Canal too).
Ben, a 400m hurdler was in charge yesterday, and it turned out that he studied at Brunel under the venerable Costas Karageorghis (the Prof who’s dedicated his academic life researching the psycophysical and ergogenic effects of music and sport).
Ben was warm and open to the idea of AudioFuel (though as a 400m hurdler did not run with music, I mean there’s no time to really get into a track in less than 60 seconds, right?) so I left some CD’s of Adrenaline Junkie for Gareth (the boss) and Nicki to try.

You can follow Running Shoes London on Twitter and they have a Free Running Club on Wednesday evenings.
The online store they have looks like the business too, same day dispatch and free postage, though you’d miss out on the retail space which has been lovingly designed and buffed.
Ben even let me park my bike inside the shop by the front door. Now that’s what I call service.
